Admission to any standard and promotion to higher standards will be carried out in accordance with the provisions in the I.C.S.E. rules and regulations. Pupils coming from other schools are requested to bring their transfer certificate from the school last attended.
As a rule no one is admitted to Stds IX, X, XII. However children of transferred employees coming from school affiliated to the Council are considered. While admission to XI is open to all, students from boards other than the Council are admitted only after getting an eligibility certicate from the Council. Migration Certificate will be issued on request for std X and XII students. A fee of Rs. 250/- will be charged for the same.
The progress of the pupil is assessed by means of Continuous evalution throughout the year. The unit tests are conducted one month before the terminal examinations and the marks will be announced to the students. Parents must make a very careful study of the reports and must take steps to improve their performance. The reports should be signed and returned to the class teachers within three days. Eligibility for promotions will be based on consolidated performance of the students in all the tests / exams and continuous assessments. There will be no retest for any of the exams / tests. Hence all students should ensure that they do not miss any tests / exams. It is compulsory for parents to attend the Open House to get an update on their child’s academic progress and conduct.
